Horta Editorial & Sound, Inc. was a post-production company founded by Sam Horta that worked on the following shows, movies and TV specials for Nickelodeon, Disney Television Animation, Hanna-Barbera, Ruby-Spears, Filmation, Cartoon Network, Film Roman and others.

From the 1980s up until 1992, Horta Editorial was a subsidiary of B&B Sound Studios and located on their lot in Burbank. B&B Sound Studios and Horta Editorial often shared their sound libraries during this time. Horta remained on the lot after B&B Sound Studios ceased operations in 1992 and operated alongside Gnome Productions before moving again to their own facility. In 1999-2000, Horta Editorial was folded into Hacienda Post, founded by former Horta employee Timothy J. Borquez (with the death of Sam Horta in 1999).
