Info

This sound effect was created by Tom Clack likely sometime in the 1970s, first used in most of his work sometime in that same decade. It would also find its way into Nickelodeon, having premiered its' first earliest known usage at the end Heathcliff's next ID sometime in 1991. It would later be used in other studios like Disney, Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures. Its' first non-Clack Studios usage was in The Simpsons episode, "Black Widower" released on April 9, 1992. It's still often used in modern media today, like in the Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil episode "Dead Man's Drop".
