Info
The Gomora roar is one of the most iconic sounds in Ultraman franchise from Tsuburaya Productions'. It is a guttural, deep, and resonant sound that has remained constant since its first appearance in 1966.
Gomora's roar is a combination of Gaira's roar (from The War of the Gargantuas) and an elephant's trumpeting (which is from the Hanna-Barbera sound library). In later incarnations, Gomora also produces sounds similar to a camel's. When exhausted, Gomora makes sounds similar to King Kong and King Caesar. Also, Gomora's roars would be reused for some monsters (especially kaiju-like monsters, like the Kraken, or large carnivores like Tyrannosaurus rex, sharks, and giant squids) from the 2008 series Doraemon.
