This is a rare horn sound effect used by Filmation and Horta Mahana Corp. (the post audio service used by Filmation for much of its life), its earliest usage being in the Tom and Jerry Comedy Show episode "Farewell, Sweet Mouse". It should not be confused with Cipha Sounds Air Horn.
