Richard Howard "Dick" Maitland (born August 23, 1942) is an American sound effects/foley artist who has worked continuously on Sesame Street, as well as its various spin-off specials and home videos since 1969. Plus, he also worked on The Electric Company, The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence, Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas, the Muppet Meeting Films (1979-1987), 3-2-1 Contact, Square One Television, Hocle and Stoty, Between the Lions (select episodes, uncredited), Chanukah on Planet Matzah Ball, The Seder on Planet Matzah Ball, Oobi, Go, Baby!, Wonder Pets, Maya & Miguel, 3rd & Bird and Peg + Cat.
