The Zenith Corporate Center At RockFall Plaza, is a 433 feet (397.927 studs) tall skyscraper in downtown Blocahoma City, Blocahoma, United States. The tower currently stands as corporate office and headquarters, as well as customer service center for Zenith, a Robloxian Insurance company.
The skyscraper is the tallest building currently in the Blocahoma City skyline, as well as the tallest building in the state of Blocahoma. The tower exceeded Blocahoma's original largest building, the Lock Bank Tower which was built in 1989 and served as the tallest building for 17 years until the tower was opened on August 1, 2006, the Lock Bank tower originally stood at 236 feet.
The Center started construction on May 21, 2000, and was planning on originally featuring 35-stories, 5 less than the current tower's height. This decision was later chosen to make the tower have shiny-glass reflective screening, and it also serves as the building's ventilation duct. The Center finished construction on June 23, 2006.
Background
Zenith is a Robloxian Insurance company that was originally founded in Blocahoma in 1887 by Warren Wilkens. Whilst the Insurance company grew and was considered one of Robloxia's largest companies, and amongst the largest insurances companies in the world, Zenith chose to keep operations in Blocahoma, and eventually moved to Blocahoma City.
History
Many proposals were made to move to Bouston, Bloxas, or Dalton, Bloxas. However, Zenith rejected the offers and decided to rebuild their existing headquarters which was 133 Feet tall (122.227 studs) which was in Rusla, Blocahoma. Originally, the building was supposed to be built 35 stories, but was made to 40 for AC and Ventilation system, as well as to create reflective glass windows as a memorial to the Blocahoma City Bombing victims.
The company purchased a plot in RockFall Square, the business main district of Blocahoma City. Construction lasted 6 years, between May 21, 2000 to June 23, 2006. An inspector from the Blocahoma City Department of Construction approved the building on July 31, 2006. The building opened its corporate center just a day later on August 1, and officially it became the tallest building in Blocahoma, and the 42nd tallest building the United States.
