William Bloxer (born September 19, 1976) is the former dictator of Crossroadia, serving in that position for two days, from June 6 to 8, 2026, making him have the shortest dictatorship ever. He staged a coup d'état and declared himself dictator, starting the Crossroadian Civil War. He was deposed by the Rogaulian Armed Forces after they landed in Crossroadia and subsequently fled to the Kingdom of Oceania, where he currently resides. Oceania rejected all extradition offers, causing political tensions with Rogaulian Polybloxia and Crossroadia.
Early life
Willam Bloxer was born on September 19, 1976. when he was 18, he joined the Crossroader army and by 30 he had become a General. He served in many places and was a good general.
Coup
On June 6, 2026, as a general in the Crossroadian army, William Bloxer entered Congress of Crossroadia, seized the building, and declared himself dictator of the country. Some congressmen fled the building and formed a resistance movement.
Civil War
After Bloxer seized power, civil war broke out between him and the resistance movement, supported by Napoleon VIII's Rogaulia. Bloxer ordered preparations for defense against a possible invasion and began fighting the insurgents. Initially, he successfully fought against his opponents and defeated their forces in two places on the front. However, at 11:00 UTC-9:00 on June 7, Rogaulian forces landed on the beach at Hubertus and marched to Crossroads City. However, they withdrew from the capital due to supply shortage. Bloxer then destroyed three-quarters of the rebels in the following hours.
Loss of power
Next day, Rogaulian forces "liberated" Crossroads City and deposed William Bloxer, establishing a puppet state. Bloxer was captured, but he escaped on June 12. He then headed for the nearest airport and boarded a flight to Bondi City on Bloxington Island. Facing arrest, he flew on June 16 to Niae Island in the Kingdom of Oceania, where he was granted asylum by King Kaka II.
