Waubun is a town in Wadena County about ten miles northwest of Hazelton. The town is mainly known for having one of the oldest still standing gas stations in the entirety of Keysota. It has not grown much. Most of the people that live there are farmers. The shopping is done in Hazelton due to the distance. The closest town to it is Angora which is right across a field from it. It has zero shelters and one gas station. It is located in the intersection of Wadena County Road 83 and Keysota State Route 71.
