W1, by foreigners also known as Telamon Turnpike, is an express highway in Telamon Islands, passing through the most important places on Manakapa. It starts in Laguna Valley and then passes through the southern part of the island and important cities in the region. It runs east until it reaches Hele Aku, where it turns and continues north until it reaches Maliblox City. Its construction began in 1959 and lasted 7 years. It was also rebuilt later. Currently, it is the longest highway in the country, being one of the most important roads, as it provides access to the largest and most important cities on Manakapa. It is also a toll road. It is managed by the Telamon Islands Toll Road Authority (part of Telamon Islands Road Authority) and their Farma Hujuma Tag is the ETC system on this highway. Cash tolls are accepted as well. Some Telamon Islands residents are offered discounts and can subscribe to vignettes, which provide a free period on all toll roads in the country, including W1.
Description
Laguna Toll Plaza in 2004 before the toll plaza was expanded.
The W1 begins at Laguna Valley in the West Coast province. The highway starts at the city bypass on the W2 highway. Two kilometers later, the Laguna Valley Toll Plaza comes with 10 lanes, 4 on each side for Farma Hujuma Tag and 6 for cash tolls. This is the main part where W1 starts, except for the city ring road. It then goes through Palm Coast, where it is a bypass for Palm Town. In this province, the highway heads southeast. After Palm Town, the W6 splits off from it. Then, at the border of South Mountains and Qari, it turns east. This is where the W7 splits off. Then the W1 passes through Lopako and reaches the metropolitan area of Bloxro City. The Lopako Toll Plaza comes then and is a full electronic toll gantry. The highway bypasses the city on the bypass and passes through the suburbs. Nearby, it intersects with the W9. Then it goes to North Luuluu, where it intersects with the W3 near Paraganamatalu. Nearby Ro-Taravia, it intersects with the W4 and W8. Then it goes through South Umbrella and North Umbrella. Then it reaches Hele Aku. There, it has an interchange with the W5. Then, the highway passes through the bypass and continues north. It passes through Holakole, South Costa, Kamaa and Gold Valley. Along the way, it intersects with W7 and W4. It then reaches Baoji City, where it has interchanges with W8 and W3. After passing through the metropolitan area of Baoji City, W1 continues north. In the Weirdland region, W11 starts on it. In Coastland, the highway reaches Springtown, where W4 ends on it. It then turns and goes west. It passes through South Maliblox, where it again has interchanges with W11. After reaching Iole, W1 turns northwest, reaching Maliblox City. The Maliblox Toll Plaza comes with 4 cash lanes on each side and 6 Farma Hujuma Tag lanes. There, it ends, having an interchange with W2 and W13. The W1 highway is the longest highway in the country.
