51st Octo Games: Player 009

CAUTION!!! THIS PLAYER FILE IS ABOUT THE STORY THAT WILL HAPPEN IN FUTURE!!!

Im Byeong-ro or Player 009 was contestant in 51st Octo Games. He survived until the Glass Stepping Stones, during which he was eliminated by falling from high after landing on regular glass panel. Player 009 was the second last person to die in the fifth game.

Inside the games

First Game (Red Light, Green Light)

Player 009 participated in first game (RLGL). He can be seen on camera standing near 497, 334 and 260. 009 then disappears from cameras, probably hiding behind 157 or 088. He, along with 421 other contestants, made it past the first game.

Second Game (Six-Legged Pentathlon)

When players had to create teams in Six-Legged Pentathlon, Byeong-ro was introduced to 456 and 157 by Player 260. Soon, they formed a team that had to play the game as 81st from all 84 teams, after 009 found Player 455, who joined their team.

During the game, he ran right behind Samuel, tripping someone who attempted to knock him down.

After passing the game, 009 and his team returned to the Octo Games dormitory. He then introduced his name to his team after Samuel said that they need to know their names.

저는 임병로입니다. "병"은 "밝은" 또는 "영광스러운"을 의미합니다. "로" 가 무슨 뜻인지 잘 모르겠습니다.
(I am Im Byeong-ro. "Byeong" means "bright" or "glorius". I am not sure what "ro" means.)

Third Game (Flood Escape) and the Riots

Im Byeong-ro knocked down a player in fight and started kicking Player 347, but then spared him and started running towards his team. He then followed Samuel and Alice in Flood Escape. After one and half minutes, their team was confused what path should they go on the second from three crossroad in the game area. Byeong-ro and 260 were then separated from rest of Samuel's team, after they went another path with Players 455 and 196. Player 009 and players he ran with next somehow made it out alive. After he returned to the Octo Games dormitory alongside with another 235 players who survived, Byeong-ro asked Samuel what happened to 157 and probably became sad after hearing about elimination of 157 and Sakura Kou.

The first mistery round (Musical Chairs)

Player 009 was seen entering the room on cameras, next to Player 334. Im Byeong-ro ran to the chair next to 334.

The third mistery round (Laser Tag)

009 is seen leaving the game area. 스바우, 이 개X식아!

Before the Fourth Game

Fourth Game (Hide and Seek)

Byeong-ro was second to have his team drawn. His gumball was blue, so he tried to trade with few players, but all refused. During the game, he stayed close to his friend, Player 455. However, when they were near the exit, Nam-soo was attacked and stabbed in the chest by Player 023. Player 009 ran towards him. He then kicked 023, took his knife and stabbed him in his aortal arch. Byeong-ro then took the keys and left the maze.

Fifth Game (Glass Stepping Stones)

이 수학자는 네 확률이 40억 분의 1 정도로 극히 낮다고 했어. 그냥 운명을 받아들이고 뛰어내려.
(This math guy said that your survival chances are incredibly low, like 4 billion. Just accept your fate and jump.)
Im Byeong-ro to Player 096, after he got scared because of being first in order

When the game began, player 096, who was number 1, became scared and refused to go. After a minute, when players tried to force 096 to jump, player 009 told him that he wouldn't survive anyway, suggesting he accept his fate and jump.
