Script

Prologue

EmiMari: “Hello everyone, welcome to my BloxTube channel. today I’ll review a movie that I haven’t thought of since I was a child, that movie is the only anime film that managed to traumatize me as a child, and that movie is the infamous Nanoha: Girl From The Near Future anime film from 1989, or if you’ve seen the dubbed version, 1993.”

EmiMari: “Before we start, I’d like to add a content warning for the following.”

The Content warning

THE FOLLOWING VIDEO ESSAY, DESPITE BEING ABOUT A CHILDREN’S FILM CONTAINS MENTIONS OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND OTHER CONTENT THAT MAY BE UNSUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN OR PEOPLE WHO ARE SENSITIVE ABOUT THIS KIND OF SUBJECT. VIEWERS DISCRETION IS STRONGLY ADVISED.

Back to the video.

EmiMari: “Now, what is the film about, you may ask?”

EmiMari: “This might contain spoilers, but, the film is mostly about an angel anime girl named Nanoha Takamachi from the year 2079 who time travels 86 years to the past so she can prevent a girl named Junko Satou from inventing a nuclear weapon that will wipe 99% of Robloxians from Planet Roblox, the plot might sound insane but it is what happens in the film.”

EmiMari: “After explaining the summary, you might think to yourself, “Emi, how are you traumatized by a children’s film? the visuals doesn’t look disturbing!”…well friends, that’s where you are actually wrong.”

The visuals

EmiMari: “Well. when it comes to the visuals of this film, the only thing I can describe them as are nihilistic and sometimes even nightmare fuel. No wonder I was traumatized by this when I was a child.”

EmiMari: “The closest thing to “optimistic” when it comes to the visuals of the film is at the beginning of and the ending of the film.”

EmiMari: “The art style however, is very nice and I’d like to see more from whoever drew the character designs of this movie.”

Overall opinion

EmiMari: “Even though the film traumatized me as a child, I’ve grown to actually not be scared by it. but still, I do not recommend showing this video to a child under 10, unless you want to traumatize said child.”

EmiMari: “In my honest opinion, I don’t think this movie would be made today due to the subject matter and I am very surprised over the fact that this is considered to be a children’s film.”

EmiMari: “That’s all I have to say about this movie...”

CREDITS

VERY HUGE THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Editing: HaruhiSuzumiya28
  • Copyrights of the Nanoha film: Seven Arcs, Ro-Saban Entertainment
  • Research: MayGirl86

Why was it unlisted?

The video was unlisted because EmiMari thought the video was insensitive due to the discussion of nuclear weapons, another reason why they had unlisted was potentially due to potential copyright infringement concerns. since in Neo-Japan (where the film was produced), the copyright laws are way different than the copyright laws in Robloxia.
