Keita Amano (天野景太), better known in Robloxia as Nathan "Nate" Adams is the former main protagonist of the 2007 Neo-Japanese animation and 1993 Video-Game franchise, "Yo-Kai Watch", he was later replaced by Natsume Amano (Summer Adams in the 2019 Robloxian release)
He first originally appeared in the 1993 videogame, "Yo-Kai Watch" as a playable MC and last appeared in the 2014 videogame, "Yo-Kai Watch!", the latter is a remake of the original 1993 game, he is also one of the characters you can choose to play as besides Katie Forester (Hailey Anne Thomas in the third YKW game).
Development
Keita was first developed sometime in 1991, and was based off a real Neo-Japanese child, originally, he was meant to be a teenager, however, due to Bloxtendo's demands during the creation of the english version of said game, Keita's age was changed from 15 to 11, and his birthyear was changed from 1978 to 1982.
Amano's appearence was mostly based off a 4th grader, because of this; Ayumu Kido, a Neo-Japanese Professor was hired to do research on what (at the time) children's favorite colors were, most the answers were either Red and White or the color pink, however; Red and White were chosen for his clothing, additionally, Blue was also voted, which would later be used on his shoes
It's also to note that Keita's appearence was entirely inspired by Hinata Suzumiya (born 1979), Kido's (at the time) 12-year-old nephew.
later in a 2010 interview, Suzumiya mentions that he hates Keita due to having a "annoying" personality and the fact that Keita is a huge "simp"
Personality
Keita is seen as a happy-go-lucky child that is called "average" by most of his peers, much to his utter annoyance.
