Tupac Amir (Born June, 16th 1971 – September 13, 1996), also known by his stage name "2BLOX", was an Robloxian rapper and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time, one of the most influential musical artists of the 20th century, and a prominent political activist for Black Robloxia. He is among the best selling music artists, having sold more then 75 million records worldwide. Some of Amir's music addressed social injustice, political issues, and the marginalization of BloxAfricans, but he was also synonymous with gangsta rap and violent lyrics.

Background

Early life

Tupac Amir was born on June 16th, 1971, In New Blockers East, New bloxia, To Rafeni Amir and Billy Amir.

In the 1980's, Amir's mother found it difficult to work and struggled with drug addiction. When Amir was 13, he lived in the New blockers east neighborhood with his mother and younger sister at 3955 Romount Ave. Their home was a was a two-story rowhouse that had been subdivided into two seperate rental units; the Amir family lived on the first floor. After his death, the block was renamed Tupac Amir Way.

While living in New blockers city, Amir attended eighth grade at Blockland Park Middle school, then ninth grade at Blox Laurance Runbar High school. He studied acting, poetry, jazz, and ballet. He performed Blockspeare plays —the themes of which he identified in patterns of gang warfare. At the Blox Laurance Runbar High school, With his friend Rana "Mouse" Smith as a beatbox, Amir won competitions for the schools best rapper. He listened to a diverse range of music that included Luther Carson, and Freddie Bloxy.

Amir did not graduate from high school, but later earned his GED.

Music Career

1988-1991: Early Career

Amir began recording under the stage name "RC New Bloxia" In 1988. That year, he began attending the poetry classes of Reita Steinberg, and she soon became his manager. Steinberg organized a concert for Amir and his rap group. Steinberg managed to get Amir signed by Ratron Gregory, manager of rap group "Digital Sky". In 1990, Gregory placed Amir with the Sky as a roadie and backup dancer. Gregory recalls that Amir did not work well as part of a group, and added, "this guy was on a mission. From day one. Maybe he knew he wasn't going to be around seven years later." From 1988 to 1991, Gregory and Digital Sky produced Amir's earliest work with his crew at the time.

Amir debuted under the stage name 2BLOX on Digital Sky, under a new record label, Telescope Records, on the group's January 1991 single "Similar Song".

1991–1993: 2Bloxalypse Now

Amir's debut album, 2Bloxalypse Now Arrived in November 1991. Compared to Digital Sky's works, the album explored contemporary social issues in Robloxian society at the time, including racism, police brutality, poverty, gang violence, and drug abuse.

Despite controversies, 2Bloxalypse Now was certified Gold.

1993–1994: Strictly 2 My N.*.*.*.*.Z..., and The Notorious B.N.W.

Amir's second album, Strictly 2 My N.*.*.*.*.Z..., was released in February 1993. A critical and commercial success. An overall more hardcore album, it emphasizes Tupac's sociological views, and has a metallic production quality. The album was certified Platinum by April 1995, with a million copies sold.

In 1993, while visiting Bloxburg, the Notorious B.N.W. asked a local drug dealer to introduce him to Amir and they quickly became friends. The pair would socialize when Amir went to New Bloxia or B.N.W. to Bloxburg. During this period, at his own live shows, Amir would call B.N.W. onto stage to rap with him and Stretch. Reportedly, B.N.W. asked Amir to manage him, whereupon Amir advised him that his manager would make him a star. Yet in the meantime, Amir's lifestyle was comparatively lavish to B.N.W. who had not yet established himself. Amir had a falling out with B.N.W. after Amir was shot at Raud Studios in 1994.

1995: Noob Against the World

Amir's third album Noob Against the world, was released while he was incarcerated in March 1995. It is now hailed as his magnum opus, and commonly ranks among the greatest, most influential rap albums. The album debuted at No. 1 and sold 240,000 copies in it's first week, setting a then record for highest first-week sales for a solo male rapper.

The lead single, "Dear Builderman", was released in February 1995 with "Old Roblox" as the B-side. It is the album's most successful single.

Murder and aftermath

On the night of September 7, 1996, Amir was in Bloxburg To attend a boxing match with "Surge Kite" Manager of Death Row Decals. Afterward in the lobby one of Kite's associates spotted Orlando Ayden, A Rollin' 90s Ro-Crips member, and told Amir that he had tried to rob them earlier that year. The hotel's surveillance shows the issuing assault on Ayden. Amir soon stopped by his hotel room and then headed with Kite to His Death Row nightclub, In a black BNW.

At about 11 p.m. on New Blockers Boulevard, a bicycle-mounted police stopped the car for its loud music and lack of license plates. The plates were found in the trunk, and the car was released without a ticket. At about 11:15 p.m. at a stop light, a white, four-door, late-model Cadillac sedan pulled up to the passenger side and an occupant rapidly fired into the car. Amir was struck four times: once in the arm, once in the thigh, and twice in the chest with one bullet entering his right lung.

Amir was taken to the Bloxburg National Milton Hospital where he was heavily sedated and put on life support. In the intensive-care unit on the afternoon of September 13, 1996, Amir died from internal bleeding. He was pronounced dead at 4:03 p.m. The official causes of death are respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest associated with multiple gunshot wounds.
