Sonic X (Neo-Japanese: ソニック X, Sonikku Ekkusu) is an 2003 comedy television anime series that is based off a 1997 light novel series of the same name, produced by the Neo-Japanese anime company, NTMS Entertainment and Ro-Sega, and ran for 78 episodes from May 20th, 2003 to July 18th, 2007. (In Robloxia, the dub ran from May 22nd, 2007 to May 28th, 2011 before being reduced to reruns in 2014)
The anime would later be adapted into a Robloxian comic by Archie Comics, Inc. for their Archie Comics Magazine.
Summary
The anime is about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (who has to stay with a chaotically insane fanboy named “Chris Thorndyke”) and his friends after being sent to an different dimension (Station Square), as they try to go back to their universe and they fight Dr. Eggman.
Rating
The anime’s unedited form (and the version that was originally dubbed) is rated 13-15 by Robloxia’s current TV Parental Guidelines, possibly due to the language used (the profanities used on most of the episodes were “shit” and “damn”) and violence being frequently used as comedy. A character will bleed their nose to get audiences laughing.

In 2025, Chris Thorndyke’s dub voice actress, Aubrey Goldish said that she regrets voicing the character (mainly due to the parody nature of the character, since he is canonically a parody of Sonic the Hedgehog fanboys) and that she hates being associated with the anime due to the dark comedy featured in it.
