Thomas David Ronaldson (August 26, 1919 – September 30, 2005), often called as, Thomas Ronaldson, was a Robloxian author and politician known for being the 56th mayor of Bloxburg from 1953 to 1969. Ronaldson was also the co-founder of the business, MilkHydrated in October 1955. During his mayorship, Ronaldson had been recognised for helping local businesses grow and that was also beneficial for the city.
Apart from being a mayor, Ronaldson was known for being an author writing several children's books after being succeeded from his mayorship. Some of his popular books included, Call it a Day (1982), Dragon's Breath (1992), The Giant Orange (1986) and Driving The Streets (1997). His writing character had indeed also became successful and Ronaldson was regarded a great writer.
Early Life and Education
Thomas David Ronaldson was born at Bloxburg, Bloxburg Valley on August 26, 1919 to Hurbert Ronaldson and Allie Ronaldson. Ronaldson grew up with a brother and sister, Annie Ronaldson and Alexander Ronaldson, while Thomas was the youngest. During his childhood, Ronaldson was interested in many different things such as sports, politics and writing.
Ronaldson attended Bloxburg Elementary School, and later attended Georgington High School after graduating from middle school. During this time, he was highly interested in politics and history. Apart from these interests, he was also interested in writing and narrating.
Life and Career
Ronaldson started his career in 1941, after graduating from college after learning politics. He worked in a few campaigns and other political and city related services. He had entered the Bloxburg council around September 1945 after Roblox War II. His aim, along with the other council members, was to improve Bloxburg’s rules and reduce many major problems like crime rates, and etc.
Due to Ronaldson being one of the best council members, he was eventually elected as mayor in July 1953, where there was an urgent need of a mayor after Milton White’s assassination. As he gained his mayorship, Ronaldson had more power and wanted to use it on improving the city. In January 1954, he started a construction on a small theme park at the southern parts of Bloxburg next to the shore side. The project ended up becoming quite successful and many visitors had gone to the theme park after its construction finishing nine months later.
Throughout the subsequent years, Ronaldson had managed to keep his mayorship and was claimed to be great mayor by citizens of the city. In February 1969, he announced that he would retire from being a mayor as he wanted to decrease his workload and it was nearly two decades of being a mayor. He eventually retired a few months later and was succeeded by Alberto Barjau Ramirez.
Around the mid 1970s, Ronaldson started writing a few children's books. His first book which he had wrote was, The Small Ant (1976). The book was quite successful and maintained a good recognition, being sold in the market. The book also received many positive reviews and was stated to be quite interesting. In 1982, his book, Call it a Day, ended up being a success with a large amount of copies being sold across the nation.
Throughout the 1990s, he published many successful books such as, Dragon's Breath (1992), Driving The Streets (1997), Wicket (1994), When It's Doomed (1995) and many more. By then, he was recognised as both, a former mayor and a skilled author. His books were great accomplishments, and had a larger amount of sales than earlier. Ronaldson also managed to sell the books around other countries such as Ro-Indi, New Loubu, Ro-Italy, and etc, by the late 1990s. Ronaldson became one of the best authors of the decade.
Death and Legacy
Thomas David Ronaldson died on September 30, 2005 at the age of 86, due to an incurable disease which was unidentified. It was later found out that the disease was actually there from two decades earlier, however Ronaldson was not diagnosed with it. Even after finding out that, the name and what the disease was still remained unknown. After Ronaldson's death, he remained well known for being a former mayor of Bloxburg and one of the best children's authors. A film called, Ronaldson, was later released in 2019, based on his biography.
