Milton Joseph White (January 1, 1912 - July 23, 1953) was a Robloxian politician known to be the 55th mayor of Bloxburg. He has served as the mayor from 1947 to 1953, until he got assassinated during a speech. During his six years of mayorship, he managed to become one of the most recognizable mayors of the city after building Bloxburg New Park in 1949, which became a popular attraction a few decades later and it was a major success.
White was born on January 1, 1912 at Bloxburg, Bloxburg Valley. As he grew up in a middle class family, he had a strong interest in history and politics. After graduating from university in North Bloxifornia, he returned to Bloxburg and took up roles from the state government. Around the late 1946, he became a candidate for the elections and eventually became the mayor in 1947. On July 23, 1953, he unexpectedly got shot during a speech, however remained a significant figure in Bloxburg's history.
Early Life and Career
Milton Joseph White was born on January 1, 1912, in Bloxburg, Bloxburg Valley. He was raised in a middle class family with a brother, Albert White. White’s parents were, Henry and Margaret White. White lived in an apartment next to a main road at the northern parts of the city. Throughout the years in White's childhood, he had developed a strong interest in politics and history. White was also proud of being born on the first of January.
White attended Bloxburg Valley High School. During high school, White was great at his studies and managed to get above 90% most of the time. White was frequently involved in certain debates and other related competitions in school. During his presence in many debates and related competitions, he had won several awards for his debating skills. White later attended university at North Bloxifornia.
Life and Career
Early Career
After White completing his studies in 1934, White returned to Bloxburg and took up several roles within local government. His first position was in the Bloxburg Housing Department, where he helped improve affordable housing and several urban plannings. White had gained a small recognition among the Bloxburg locals. In 1940, White had moved into a higher role, helping to plan for several Bloxburg infrastructure related projects.
In 1942, he joined the Bloxburg City Council, where he helped in urban planning, economic development, and infrastructure projects. White’s goal was to improve the city of Bloxburg and help several problems such as crime rates, economic problems, and etc. White later planned on running for mayor of Bloxburg.
1946 Mayoral Elections
In 1946, White became a candidate for being the mayor of Bloxburg, wanting to improve the city and help businesses grow. His campaign had emphasised on these things. Due to White being a quite well known figure for his actions among the locals, White won the 1946 mayoral election and joined the office in January 1947, becoming the city’s 55th mayor. White aimed to improve the city and solve major issues around the city as he gained his mayorship.
Mayor Career
White won the 1946 mayoral election with a significant with a significant number of votes. He joined the office in January 1947 and became Bloxburg’s 55th mayor. White had strong hopes on improving the city. "I think Bloxburg would need some more improvement, and I promise that I would try my best on improving the city. It is my hometown, I want to make it a better place.", stated White in The Robloxian Times. One of White’s major focuses as a mayor improve Bloxburg's economy and solve further issues to improve the city. During the years of 1947, 1948 and 1949, White majorly helped other businesses grow, believing that Bloxburg would improve and could be exposed to more products and other useful things. During these years under White's mayorship, the city saw a major improvement in economy and also new establishments of a few districts in 1948.
A major brand called Unstopped Clothing, was eventually promoted by White in 1949, and the company was also great and useful for Bloxburg. White attempted on starting many urbanisation, transportation and economic improvement projects to improve the city. After the successful promotion of Unstopped Clothing, there was more availability to better and affordable clothing in the city. After raising a large amount of money, White started the construction of Bloxburg State Highway in February 1950. The highway ended up being a success as it finished its construction in July 1952 within just two years, as the highway was not too long in distance.
Assassination
On July 23, 1953, White eventually got assassinated by a man, Williams Angus. The reason for the assassination was unknown as White was regarded as a popular figure in Bloxburg and had very less controversy. He was shot with a pistol during a speech at the evening of that night. Milton remained to be regarded as one of the most significant figures in Bloxburg's history and politics.
