TISA (Telamon Islands Space Agency) is a government agency of Telamon Islands responsible for the national space flight program based in Telamon City. For some reason, Robloxians accidentally refer to it as the Telamon Islands Space and Science Association or TISSA.
History
The agency was founded in 1977 as a result of the implementation of the Space Plan (part of 12 Future Plans), created in 1956, the agency was called Lanakila Mikala Space Agency, in honor of the creator of the Space Plan, President Lanakila Mikala, who died in 1972. Institute was named TELSRA since 1979.
In 1978, work on building rockets stopped, and TELSRA focused on observatories. Work on sending the first Telamonians into space finally resumed in 1985, which happened 5 years later. TELSRA soon began building space probes. TELSRA changed its name to TISA in 1992. On March 19, 1993, the Makia probe took detailed photos of the major planetoids in the asteroid belt between Marblox and Kositrix, and then photographed the moons of the latter. At the turn of the 90s, special observatories were also constructed in the New Robloxia Mountains, Aqualia, and Turtos Islands, which are considered to be among the best in the world. In 2002, Telamonian project named Odysseus Space Mission was launched. Telamonian probes Odysseus I, Odysseus II, and Odysseus III photographed the moons of most of the planets in the Blox System. Odysseus I reached Yeekus and Yeekoe, Odysseus II reached Marblox and Salois, and Odysseus III reached Kositrix. Additionally, Odysseus III reached Bloxto. It is known that since 2006, TISA has been working on a space program called 'Hopukaka', although no one knows the details. Between 1997 and 2024, TISA named over 140,000 objects in the vicinity of the Blox System (mostly asteroids), as well as 29,000 stars, 380 galaxies, and 3 black holes.
