Sugmometer

Rules and description

The Sugmometer has 20 users who are the subjects of aura measurement. At the end of the week, the results are reported and reset. This cycle continues. The user with the highest aura is named Sigma of the Week, second place is Vice Sigma of the Week, and third place is Bronze Sigma of the Week. The user with the lowest score is Sugma of the Week, accompanied by the Vice Sigma of the Week with the second-worst score. The ranking is determined primarily by aura, and if equal, the average calculated by dividing the aura by the number of transfers decides. In cases where the aura and average are inconclusive, the alphabetical order of the usernames is considered. Results can be influenced by bonuses of +1 aura, awarded for an average of +4 or higher and for exceeding +10 aura. Higher bonuses are also awarded for exceeding higher scores. There are also negative bonuses, which reflect the positive ones. These bonuses are added to the aura total at the end of the week and included in the final score. There are also monthly editions that overlap. Each monthly edition begins on the first full week of the month and ends on the week during which the month ends. At the end, all the edition results for each user on the Sugmometer are added up. Then, the next edition begins. Users in each edition don't have to be the same, although most users from the previous edition will advance to the next. Some may not advance to the next edition if they are inactive and don't generate any aura, or if they have been blocked or banned. In the monthly results, due to the lack of an average and bonuses, ranking is determined primarily by the number of auras, and secondarily by alphabetical order. From time to time, Sugmometer hosts lotteries, during which various prizes are awarded to random Sugmometer participants. So far, four such lotteries have taken place, with three publicly announced in front of the wiki community and one behind closed doors.

Controversy

Sugmometer sometimes sparks controversy. One such case is the case of Jk8374, a user who became Vicesigma of the Month, and a month later, Sigma of the Month. Jk8374 was known for his numerous controversial statements. He was banned by Fandom at the beginning of April. However, this did not stop him from participating in the April edition of Sugmometer, which he did on his alt account under the username Kindman919. After some time, he was permanently banned. However, he was unbanned at the end of August. He was then added to the Sugmometer in September. He was banned again just a few days later, leading to his removal a month later. Later, he was placed under review by ChikoritaTheRobloxian, and since then, has not returned to Robloxiapedia nor the Sugmometer, leading to some to believe that the very act of being under review is causing him to detach himself from Robloxiapedia.

Another controversial issue is the distribution of aura. Editor93848 and Manul once criticized this, though they stopped when they started winning, which is quite controversial in itself.

Possible deprecation

In March 2026, there was considerable talk to potentially deprecate the Sugmometer due to negative mental health impacts associated by it, even though it is not associated with any mental health impact by definition. This resulted in localized controversy, with some users being depressed that the Sugmometer would be deprecated when they are on a hot streak, resulting in the invalidation of the said hot streak, especially Jayoniphone3, who argued against it due to the fact it would ruin her potential five month streak of being in the top of the monthly Sugmometer. CaptainHamdaanAbidYT upheld the decision to deprecate the Sugmometer. Meanwhile, ChikoritaTheRobloxian remained neutral and said that any rank on the Sugmometer is fine for him and it is acceptable if he did not appear in the top five. He later changed his mind and became the most ardent supporter of restoring the Sugmometer. Following community pressure, Yellow Puma Plus conducted a poll to determine the future of the Aurometer. Most users voted in favor of its preservation, overturning the deprecation. Later, Jayoniphone3 was banned by Robloxiapedia after it was revealed that she has off-platform controversies, removing the mental health threat. However, Jayoniphone3 still is not banned by Fandom due to its jurisdiction unable to globally punish users for off-platform behavior. Because of that, all her titles were taken away and all her aura got nullified.
