Springfield Township is a historic town in Liberty County, Bloxburg Valley. It is a rural town, just off Interblox 55 and Ro-Route 55. It is located in the north-eastern corner of Liberty County. The town is enforced by the Springfield Township Police Department, and the Liberty County Sheriff's Office. The population was 6,497 at the 2020 Census.

Springfield offers mostly suburban homes. There are some trailer homes. However, the town is mostly occupied by suburban residences.
