Sienna Concourse is a subway station on CenterConnect Rail Line 1 . It is in the median of Centell Highway 9, in the Sienna-Wrastior neighborhood. It consists of one island platform accessible by overpass over the freeway. Like the rest of the original six-station segment between Stantien Terminal and CityGate North Station, it was inaugurated on December 16, 1978.
Layout
Because of its location in a highway median, a overpass allows for access to the station, from Sienna Street. It also has connections to the bus route #6 (Brandt Street), on Sienna Street. At the CityGate South-bound end, a punch box exists for operators to press to signal the switch at CityGate North whether the train is to use the center terminating track, or the through-track. It sends a message via the trackside communication cable to the switch box. The station is not wheelchair accessible .
