Shamonsun (1712 - March 25, 1761) was the paramount chief of Abulonia from 1734 until his death at the Battle of Yocton. He was the son of his predecessor Hethonton I. Under his leadership, the Abulonian Confederation fought Bloxians in the Bloody Bloxas War, the Abulo-Korbloxian War of 1752, and the Seven Years' War.
Life
Shamonsun was born in 1712. He was the only son of Hethonton I. At that time, Shamonsun's grandfather, Hegaksapa, was still chief. Shamonsun was initially named Shonge ("wolf" in Tizi Abulonian). When he was fourteen years old, eight tribes seceded from the confederation. In the following years, Hethonton I and then Shamonsun set about uniting the Abulonian tribes. Shamonsun won his first battle at the age of 16.
He became chieftain after his father's death in 1734. He soon subjugated southern Nebloxa. In 1742, he formed an alliance with Robloxia to fight Korbloxia. In July 1743, he attacked Bloxarkansas a month after the Bloody Bloxas started. Two months later, Gervase Celest, leader of the failed Whiteshirts Rebellion (1738-1741) defected to Abulonia and Shamonsun caused Robloxians to allow Celest to fight in the conflict.
Shamonsun later joined he Seven Years' War and died in the Battle of Yocton against Korbloxians. He had three sons: Paukmikasi, who succeeded him, Hethonthon II and Niniba.
