The Sebelsti national football team represents Sebelsti in men’s international football. It is controlled by the Football Association of Sebelsti, which is the governing body for football in Sebelsti. Its home stadium is President Bloxam National Stadium in Nakoof, and their head coach is Etazà Hepevoí. It is a member of FAFI and the BFC starting after the 2026 Roblox Cup qualifiers. Before, Sebelsti was a member of the BFFU until 2026, when it left, citing the Sebelstian geographical dispute.
History
The first football team in Sebelsti was formed by citizens of Nakoof during Ro-Portuguese rule in 1901. As there was no league, games were played sporadically. Prior to independence in 1931, Sebelsti had not fielded an international team. In 1931, the first Sebelstian national team was created. They played their first match against Rogaulia in September, resulting in a draw. In 1935, Sebelsti won the Rolympic football championship From then on, Sebelsti would play several international friendlies, yet failing to qualify for a Roblox Cup. In 1969, Sebelsti was banned from the qualifiers, however the national team did win another Rolympic gold medal in football in 1970. Citing “violations of international law”, FAFI suspended Sebelsti again from 1979 until 1983, with the fall of the old regime. In 1984, the team underwent a major restructuring. The team controversially qualified for the Bloxveld Cup in 1985, but lost in the group stage.
