San Guarino (Spanish for 'Saint Guarino'), is the commercial, financial, and cultural center of Northern Luceria. The city proper is the third most populous city in Luceria. with 808,437 residents, and the 12th most populous city in the United States as of 2024. The city covers a land area of 46.9 square miles (121 square kilometers) at the end of the San Guarino Peninsula, making it the second-most densely populated large U.S. city after New Rotterdam City and the fifth-most densely populated U.S. county, behind only four of the five New Rotterdam City Boroughs.

San Guarino is extremely vulnerable to earthquakes, because of this, most buildings are build to withstand 1-7 Magnitude Earthquakes. The city has visible earthquake scars which is mostly likely caused by The 1989 San Guarino Earthquake.

Crime

San Guarino is a major hub for drug-trafficking, especially the crack-cocaine trade and the weed-marijuana trade. The city itself was one of the major points by which drugs are smuggled into the United States.

Some neighborhoods in south San Guarino also suffer from violent crime such as homicide, turf wars and armed robberies.

Large and violent gangs dominate multiple areas in SG such as the Triads, a Chinese multinational criminal organization that expands operations in San Guarino and other cities in El Dorado and other states. Or the Episona-13th or E-13th. a powerful Hispanic criminal organization based on the MS-13.
