Saint John's Labor and Delivery Hospital (SJLaDH or simply, Saint John's) is a 300-bed non-profit hospital located in Anchburg, Romont. Saint John's is a member of the Roblox Health Organization.
The hospital stores gynecological facilities as well as a maternity department, and neonatal/neonatal intensive care unit services (NICUs).
History
In 1998, concerns about hospital capacity for the pregnant arose across the state. Some were forced to give birth in their homes or even on the side of the road. After a protest in October that year, the state was pressured into getting involved.
On January 1st, 1999, construction started on the hospital. While the hospital was in construction, a team of nurses were assigned to respond to calls of unassisted birth. for a short time, if you called Emergency Services in Romont, you would be asked if you needed police, EMS, firefighters, or nurses.
On March 16th, 2000, construction was finished. Beds, gynecological facilities, and NICUs were placed inside the building. After being given time to set and staff up, he hospital started taking Robloxian patients in on March 20th.
On August 25th, 2001, the hospital was able to find nurses able to satisfy the pregnancy and maternity needs of the Furry species. The hospital started taking Furries patients in on August 29th.
