Formed originally as a safe spot for Neo-Japan's furry population in 1947 by the United Roblox Countries, the country would go down a power trip fueled by a deranged monarchy.

Neo-Japanese occupation:
Before it was established as a country, it served in Roblox War II as a Neo-Japanese Empire military base. A "city" would be built on the island, but in reality, it was a prisoner of war holding site. After the war was over, it would have the walls torn down and make into a regular city by the Robloxian military. After it was cleared to settle in, around 300,000 residents of Neo-Japan would arrive and move into the unnamed city.
The insurrection and turning into a monarchy:
Around 1957, a group of angered citizens would head to the capital building demanding the country's cities be given names and government leadership was improved. One such was the soon to become ruler named Yamauchi Eiko. They stormed the building and killed all of the government people before taking control, quickly twisting the island into a unhinged monarchy. The residents would wake up to a royal flag being put up over the city that would be named Yamauchi City. The empire would be highly controlling, preventing anything negative about the country from getting out.
The Oasis War:
The country would get into its first war with the neighboring Kemonobloxia over a island known as Oasis Island. The RKR wanted it for a prison to use for its dissidents and Kemonobloxia wanted it for resorts and resources. The arguing would soon result in the RKR firing drones and napalms at Kemonobloxia which would respond by returning fire, beginning a four month long war.
The Rebellion:
At the start of June, residents would be getting extremely tired of the queen's thought police and her ministry of truth and would form a secret rebel alliance. Since it was June, the symbolism would be LGBTQ themed which the queen had outlawed on the island along with any other identities and views. On July 27th, a large group of rebels would storm the island's military bases and take them over as another headed for the palace. They would torch it and slay the fleeing queen. The empire was announced to have been taken over a couple days later and renamed to the Boykisser Republic.
