Ro-Wabasca, is a urban service area as the county seat of Mountil County. It is located just 14 km from the Egbert Mountains, and about 57 km away from Redmountville. It is part of the Egbert Oil Sands making development of the national petroleum industry. It is known for it's large avalanches reaching the area, which caused the hamlet to make a outdoor warning siren system for the robloxians.
It is a former city but it is mainly a Urban Service Area, after it amalgated with the Improvement District No. 79, making Mountil County. Still, people recgonize Ro-Wabasca a city.
History
It was dominated by Indigenous robloxians for alot of years until a person, Rurian Mackenzie headed into this area in 1901,
A new community named the Town of Waterways was made in 1907, Waterways was amalgated into Ro-Wabasca, making it known as Fort Wabasca.
The post gained more robloxians in 1921, as it reached the point to become a town pushing through the 3,000+ population. During the Second Roblox War, the town was a military base, which was just 5 km east of the town.
In 1951, the town was a vast growing town, becoming Bloxanada's top growing communities. It became a city in 1968, passing 17,000 people.
Geography
The hamlet is located near the Egbert Mountains and Blox Great Plains border. It is 287 km away from the city of Bloxedmonton. Ro-Wabasca is near the Bloxish Columbia border, just about 163 km west of the hamlet. It is confluenced by the Adabasca River, the longet river in Bloxalberta.
It is on the oil sands of the Egbert Mountains, making it a fast growing community.
Climate
Ro-Wabasca is in a humid continental climate and very close to a subartic climate border. Winter tempatures can hit a low of -13ºC to a average high of -36ºC. Summer tempatures can reach a average low of 6.8ºC to average high of 32ºC. The annual snowfall can reach heights up to 154 cm. The highest tempature ever recorded in Ro-Wabasca was about 39ºC during a heat wave.
Demographics
In the 2021 census of population, Ro-Wabasca had about 23,981 living in 9,981 of its 10,619 total private dwellings, a change of 4.9% it's 2016 census of 23,432.
