Ro-Slave Lake, also known as Lesser Blox Slave Lake or Slave River, is a large hamlet localized in central Bloxalberta. It is about 243 kilostuds away from Bloxedmonton. It is the meeting point of Bloxalberta Highway 2 and Bloxalberta Highway 88 and northeast of it is the Blox Lesser Slave Lake.
History
Settlers during 1895 from the Viletonville settlers moved to the area as a new gravel road was getting built for carriages. The gravel road was called Road 88. Settlers started populartizing the area.
At 1924, the community wa established into a Town. The first powerplants get built in the area just east of the town. It's post office got added in 1956, and the Fraserville Railway crossed the area in 1958.
Climate
Ro-Slave Lake encounters a humid continental climate as the tempature is not very cold at winter seasons. It gets humid and warm during the spring-early fall months.
Demographics
The 2023 Population Census said that Ro-Slave Lake had 7,517 people. The current is 7,536 people.
Infrastructure
The airport is supported by mutiple small airlines and others such as Northwest Waylines, EastJet, and Mountain Bloxanada Helicopters.
