The Republic of Viata is a country which is located on an archipelago near the Ro Philippines. The archipelago used to be a territory of the Ro Philippines until when it was seceded from the Ro Philippines in 2023.
History
Beginning (Missing Ship Incident)
In 1832, a Ro-Spanish army patrol ship who got lost during a patrol. They, by mistake, voyaged into the Viatan Islands and discovered an island. The crew disembarked the ship and got on to one of the islands of Viata to see what was on the island, which was only full of rainforests and wildlife. Eventually, the crew brought some fruits from the island and went on the ship to try and figure out the way home. They found their way home. After the incident, someone came with them to document what was happening.
After the incident they surrendered the papers of documents to the general governor of the Ro Philippines since it was a colony of Ro-Spain during that time.
Modern Day
Later after the incident, ships were sent to the islands and they discovered at least 200+ islands in the Viatan archipelago, and they claimed them to be the part of their land. However, in 1907, hearing the mentions of unoccupied land, Luobu sent on a large voyage to discover the islands and took 500+ islands as their territories which was unknown to the claimed amount of island in Viata according to the Ro Philippines.
However, the islands were sparse in inhabitants until 2020 when Lakanam requested Viata to have its own autonomy and gathered many Robloxians to join Viata. On November 2023, the Ro Filipino government finally gave the Viatan Islands independence due to the lack of resources. The country was named the Republic of Viata, and the leadership of the country was given to Fabio Ferza.
