Pulsar Islands (pronounced: puhl-sar eye-lundz) is a Bloxian overseas territory located in the north of the Bloxington Ocean, and it consists of 2 islands: Pistol Island and Artemis Island. The estimated population in 2023 was 7,007.
It is located 400 km (248 mi) southwest of Bloxazores, and 2,000 (1,285) from mainland Eurobloxia (specifically Ro-Portugal). The airport is the main way to get here. A lot of astronomers live here, due to the launch site located on Artemis Island. Its also one of the most used launch sites in Roblox. The capital and largest settlement is Six Palms.
The former name of the island group was Teals Islands, and before that is Tealington Islands. The reason it was renamed is as said is because of the heavily used launch site located on the Artemis Island. First discovered by Eurobloxians in the 16th century, specifically by the Netherbloxian-Bloxian Nico brothers. They originally went on a voyage to find new islands, especially large ones. The island later became a stopover for Bloxian merchants/traders to go to South Bloxmerica. The island was later invaded by Ro-Portuguese raiders, but failed and Bloxia Kingdom defended the island. In 1869, the traders stopped going through the islands as much due to many easier & faster ways found. Later in 1966, a rocket site (SLS) was built, and is the symbol of the islands. RASA and the BK Space Agency use the site occasionally. The islands were renamed eventually. In 2018, forest fires on the island started, but it was alleged arson, it ended right after. In 2021, the island launched Bloxxier-3, the most modern satellite in Roblox, and in the same year, 7,000 people were living in the territory.

Discovery
The island was first sighted by the Nico brothers in the 16th century, specifically in 1542. later when they came back they sent a note to Bloxian traders and high-ranked guards. The second sighting of the island was seen by Bloxian traders and King John II ships commanded by James Teal. When James Teal came back to his home Ro London, he named it after his surname, Teal Islands. They stopped by, and colonized it, and Traders started living on the Pistol Island. Although the date of the sighting is unconfirmed, but historians say its in mid 15th century. A 2021 map also describes map evidence that the islands were known to the Ro-Portuguese, before the Bloxians discovered it, and it was called "St. Gabriel" island, but is unconfirmed.
