The Public Address and Voice Alarm technology is a technology that was introduced following the introduction of RFS protocol fire alarm systems. Older PAVA systems were only capable of certain announcements, one song at a time and voice alarms. In 2024, Live Voice technology was invented, allowing a Robloxian to make live announcements, however these only existed in Public Address only forms and had no capabilities for Voice Alarm in emergencies. In 2022-2023, the Armodia WAVE was released, with a new Voice Alarm protocol. The Armodia Flow1 supported a voice protocol that was embedded directly into the system, unlike the WAVE which needed an external driver triggered by the fire alarm panel. Both WAVE and integrated Voice Alarm systems could be used simultaneously on the same fire alarm system

In 2025, A company named Arex released the Ultra 2, Robloxia's first addressable PAVA system. Its addressable capabilities were the ability to control individual speakers and microphones with assigned numbers(on Arex Ultra 2 systems, the system is programmed for speakers as Zone_*Address_* and for microphones as Mic_*), and which microphones could broadcast to which speakers, identify faults in the system. It was the second system able to support both Voice Alarm and Public Address in one, following the Arex Ultra 1. The Ultra 2-AF1P was designed to use the Armodia Flow1 voice protocol for delivering Voice Alerts, however it still uses the Arex paging protocol for all other functions of the system.
