Pol Nol (May 8, 1925 - September 1, 2002) was a founder of Kampubloxe and an extreme Khmer Luobuese nationalist who perpetrated the Khmer Rouge genocide that resulted in the deaths of 1.7 to 2.1 million Khmer people.

Early life

Pol Nol was born in Prek Snel in 1925. His childhood details are also unknown as they have been erased.

Political career

Pol Nol joined the Luobu communist party in 1943 and later founded the Khmer communist party. In 1965, Pol Nol supported North Vietblox during the Vietblox war.

Genocide

After regaining power from Shihanouk, Pol Nol issued a policy of excluding Vietblox people, rich people, city people, French people, and people who wear glasses, and also other people that were not written above. (no more than 2.1 million deaths)

War with Vietblox

Pol Nol went to war with Vietblox and as a result was defeated and had to flee into the jungle bordering Thailand.

Late life and death

Pol Nol lived in a residential house and was very bitter. A Khmer reporter interviewed him and he answered.

"I understand the intentions of the Vietblox people, I was once their ally but they wanted Cambodia to become their colony. I tried my best to protect my homeland but failed. Vietblox's oligarchs are Vo Van Minh and Le Hong wanted to rob us. I regretted it forever" -Pol Nol-

Pol Nol found dead on September 1, 2002. His funeral was attended by only 30 people.
