Saint Bartelemy
The Lotus Islands, known colloquially as the Pilot Training Archipelago, are a group of islands located in the Telamon Ocean. They are a territory of Robloxia, and is part of Robloxian Lotus. Its largest city prior to the 2025 Pilot Training Archipelago Earthquake is Rockford, having a permanent population of 621, and containing the majority of the civilian population of the islands back then. The islands had a population of 2,497 that was non-permanent in 2024, and 1.2M permanent. It is primarily home to Robloxian military installations, although a few civilians live on the island. Although it is a territory of Robloxia, it has its own passport-like ID system. Currently, the permanent population of the island is down to 1.7M permanent and is projected to decrease in the short-term due to possible deaths as a result of the 2025 Pilot Training Archipelago Earthquake, which suck Greater Rockford and turning the largest city into Grindavik. In 2026, a second earthquake occurred in Grindavik, which sunk the island and turned the largest city of the archipelago into Sauthemptona. Grindavik’s loss led to fears of the archipelago’s geographic location in the Telamon Ocean being an active seismological hotspot, which was verified by the Robloxia Geological Survey. After the 2026 earthquake, the archipelago had a 600,000 permanent population.
The first inhabitants of the island were natives to the Lotus Islands. They sailed to where Saint Bartelemy at around 3200 BCE. They had inhabited the islands and created a civilization. In the 9th and 10th century, the Lankia Dynasty and the Tapaw Dynasty started to rule the islands. The northwestern part of the islands was ruled by the Lanika Dynasty, while the southeastern part was ruled by the Tapaw Dynasty. They ruled the area until 1770s and 1780s, when a the Lotus Kingdom was established.
(Feel free to add Info about the kingdom).
Modern History
A coup occurred in 1931, and the Lotus People's Republic was founded the same year. In 1977, the United States Of Robloxia won the islandsfrom them and established military bases on them. Due to this, the non-permanent population decreased from around 10,000 to 2,497. Today, abandoned buildings from the dynasties and the kingdom can still be found. In 2022, the Lotus Temple became a Roblox-wide known cultural heritage site.
Contemporary History
On December 7, 2025, 6:35:47 PM Telamon Sea Time, the island of Greater Rockford fully sunk after an earthquake on May 18, 2025 accelerated the subsidence and sea level rise, but all 621 permanent civilians and all property of the island were not on it, so the death toll and property damage was zero on the island, though death tolls and property damage outside of the island may have existed. The island, complete with its shape, on May 18, 2025, was then seen recreated at a newly discovered hotspot and plate subduction zone in Eurobloxia. As soon as all the civilians and the property of the island moved here, as well as the city's well known airport, Greater Rockford Airport, the island of Greater Rockford decided to declare independence from Robloxia for unknown reasons, forming their own country. As a result, the entire archipelago was left without a capital, but because the archipelago is a Robloxian territory, the Robloxian government has assumed that the capital of the archipelago will not even be in the archipelago but rather their own national capital.
On April 20, 2026, 5:37:39 AM Telamon Sea Time, the island of Grindavik fully sunk after a series of disasters, including an earthquake, a tsunami, and an eruption accelerated the subsidence and sea level rise. The death toll and property damage was 125 and R$16.24 trillion on the island, respectively though death tolls and property damage outside of the island may have existed. This marked the second time an island fully sunk. Coincidentally, Ro-Iceland saw a increase in pilot training activity on April 20, 2026 that for now, never seems to wane.
