Charles Williams Smith (born April 17, 1947), professionally known as Mr. Oof, is a popular Robloxian comedian and actor who was proceeding with his career since the 1970s. He was a very significant actor and comedian among the entertainment industry and had won numerous of awards. Through the 1990s he had already gained a wide recognition, especially after the series, Timeline of Mr. Oof (1990–1996) and appearing in prominent films.

Charles Williams Smith was born on April 17, 1947, at Davidson, a city at the south hills of Wisconsin. From a young age, Charles liked drama and humorous shows. He had often participated in school talent shows and drama events.

After he had completed studies in 1969, Smith began performing at local comedy places and events. He was often called as" Mr. Oof". As he continued small performances, he started to gain larger amount of audiences and his plays were largely enjoyed. Smith's performances include humor from everyday scenarios and daily life.
In 1971, Smith was invited to Bloxxers Humors and did certain plays which were highly humorous and enjoyable. During the early 1970s, he did numerous of plays and gained a wide recognition among the locals in Davidson city.
Film Appearances and Albums
As Smith had gained a quite good recognition during this time, he was hired by director Troy White on the film, Chaotic Adventure, which eventually became a prominent adventure and comedy film. This helped him to increase Smith's prominence and he was a recurring character of the film. He later released his album, "Oof Happenings!", which instantly became popular and sold over 400 thousand copies through Robloxia during the early to mid 1970s.
In 1973, Smith had signed a contract with director Gary White as being an actor in the comedy film, “Little Groove” (1974). This film later ended up being quite prominent. Smith continued his career and continued to gain wider recognition towards the 1980s, and the character, “Mr. Oof”, started to be heard of more. In 1984, he started a television show and acted in it, Mr Oof (1984 — 1990). The show became quite prominent and gained a huge amount of viewers.

In 1990, Smith had signed a contract with director John Harrison on starting a comedy humorous series to be run for six years, The Timeline of Mr. Oof, after the first episode, the series already gained a huge recognition also due to the appearance of Smith. Through the years, the show was a great success and was one of the most prominent films among the country. By 1995, it became a famous show worldwide, and had brought many viewers from other countries. The show had ended in 1996, however, it’s still watched today a lot.
During the late 1990s, he had appeared in many films such as Jerrison (1996), Days (1996), Looping (1997), Le Garcon (1997), Unknown Magic (1997), Havocing (1998), Eventful Roadtrip (1998) and T Rex (1999).
