Maxence I the Fortunate (1597-1663) was the sixth prince of Mini Rogaulia from 1628 until his death. He also served as marquis of Forêt (1621-1663), duke of Montferrat (1628-1631), duke of Valentinois (1642-1663) and count of Bobuxal (1660-1663). His cousin Hugo Bobuxal became Pope Octavius IV in 1644.
Family
In 1625, Maxence the Fortunate married Amalie Bricktoria of Rossau, daughter of John VII the Middle, Count of Rossau, whose cousin was Maurice of Orange, the husband of Maxence's aunt. Amalie Bricktoria was twelve years younger than Maxence, being only 16 when the wedding ceremony took place. They had seven children:
