Marcus Patterson (born November 27, 1992) is a Robloxian animator widely known for creating the prominent TV series, Life of a Villager. Other popular work of him include his small animated series, Oofington (2014 — 2015) and Tom’s History (2016 — 2021). His talented work helped him gain a variety of audience who would respect him.
He had first started his career during college while learning graphics and designing, had done several BloxTube videos and did earn a good amount of audience. He later on got highly inspired by the series, Robloxians, after watching several episodes, motivating him to make the series, Life of A Villager for the Avast Television.
Early Life and Education
Marcus Patterson was born on November 27, 1992, in Campa, Blorida. Growing up in a huge family with being the second child out of four children, he developed a passion for drawing and animation at an early age. By the age of 10, Marcus had already began experimenting small animations on his father's computer. He would make and illustrate stories, and bring them to life by the use of animations.
Life and Career
In 2012, he started small animations and independent projects. He had also created a BloxTube channel named "MarcusAnimations" and often posted his short animations. In 2013, he gained attention after he created a short animated film named Blocker Adventures, which had got numerous of views in BloxTube and the animation had consisted humor and dramatic scenes.
Marcus’s huge fame came in 2014 when he got the idea for a TV series called Life of a Villager to be produced in 2013 and was inspired by the famous series, Robloxians. This series had helped him gain a significant amount of reputation. Marcus was also quite talented making his parents proud of it as his father, Harry Patterson stated in a report at RBX News in 2021, “I was really proud of my son throughout the years and I really value his work and he seems to be really talented.”.
In 2016, he started another series which later on became prominent, which was called, Tom’s History based on the life of a boy named Tom along with his surroundings, which was inspired by The Oofy Show which had been popular at that time too. During the proceeding years, he continued the making of various animated short films and had also made series which he had made some earlier that went popular.
