The Kingdom of Kohola was a country that existed from 1621 to 1941 on the island of Kohola, one of only two countries in what is now the Telamon Islands that was not colonized. Formed as a merger of the Kingdom of East Kohola and the Kingdom of West Kohola, the kingdom served as a center of freedom for Telamonians during colonization. Initially a theocracy, its government later transitioned to a monarchy. Toward the end of its existence, reforms led to the establishment of a parliamentary monarchy. In 1941, the country joined the Telamon Islands, ending its existence after 320 years.
