Life
He was appointed chief of the Foravu tribe in 1942, at age 21, by his cousin Fuātama II. Simultaneously, Kaka's older brother Judas Prank became the chief of the Oata tribe.
He later moved to West Pukapuka with his mother. In 1959, Kaka presented a plan for supporting independence movement in Oceania to prime minister Lanakila Koma. As a result, the Telamonian government began financial support for Matagasau movement. He received the Copper Rose of Pukapuka in 1965.
Kaka returned to the country in 1975. He joined Tupua Smith's conspiracy and participated in the February coup in 1977. In 1978, the Lemandarin Territory officially ceased to exist and Kaka's older brother Judas became king of Oceania. According to the new established line of succession, Kaka became heir to the throne, and Judas' son, whose name was also Kaka, became the second in line.
Kaka became King Kaka I in 1980 after Judas died by drowning.
