The most famous serial killer mystery
John the Ripper is regarded as one of the world's greatest mysteries due to how little is known about him. His murders in Ro London still live in the city as some of the most brutal murders in the history of the city. His name derived from a letter written from someone claiming to be the killer which would later be believed as a hoax made possibly by Ro London's newspapers to increase readership.
Murders
He would target people in a district of Ro London, brutally murdering them one by one. The exact amount of people he killed was unknown due to the area being heavily crime and murder rampant. It was established that five murders in September 8th of 1888 were his doing. His murders consisted of stabbing and ripping out their organs. One of the only pictures of him showed him wearing a leather or cloth face cover with a top hat and a trench coat. Police couldn't figure out who he was due to a lack of evidence.
Legacy

The story of John the Ripper and his killings would become a famous tale told to Ro London's children in the 1920s and 1930s who would be immortalized in some books as a monster and untruly part of the paranormal. By the 1960s he would become more of a symbol of "the predatory and aristocracy", dressed in a top hat and usual business attire acting as the embodiment of upper class exploitation. The image of him merged with those of other famous monsters. He would be the center of multiple works of both truth and fantasy.
