The Jazz Skull is an anomalous entity that is only seen and recorded during the entire month of October. It's known for it's legacy as being a meme.
History
The first sightings of the so called "Jazz Skull" were from as early as 1995. On October 31, A resident named Kathy Jarroe in an undisclosed rural location in North Dabloxa made a call to the police of a floating skeleton head playing a trumpet, accompanying it were skeletons of the dead with trumpets, playing the exact same 2-note jingle. The RSCP Foundation's security forces were deployed to the location, but the site where Kathy spotted the anomaly was gone.
Later in 1999, More sightings throughout the month of October in Robloxia of the same anomaly were reported. This time the RSCP Foundation's MTF units under disguise as riot police. Though no containment procedures have been enacted as it was revealed that the anomaly is not hostile to humans, rather it serves as a public disturbance.
From up to 2001, This anomaly has been reported in every continent of Roblox, except Bloxarctica. Residents have now named it "Skull Trumpet" and by its most popular name "Doot Doot", which is an onomatopoeic phrase of the trumpet it plays. Though being recorded to play a trumpet, the entity cannot play other pieces of music. One instance was taken to a Thunder Science lab in 2003, where it was given a piece of sheet music. The entity, despite not being blind, refused to play the music.
Perhaps the most confusing ability of the "Jazz Skull" is it's necromantic abilities. Much like anomalies with similar traits like Noctavexes. The Jazz Skull can raise the dead into skeletons, even if the bodies were cremated, The skeletons are confirmed to be seperate entities, but all respond to the actions of the main entity, like a hive-mind, this observation was noted by TSI researcher, Kolin. Like the main entity, the other skeletons cannot perform music other than the signature "Doot-Doot" tone.
Since the early 2010's this entity has become the subject of Roternet meme culture, being called "Mr Skeletal", some have remixed the signature trumpet noise into songs from movies, video games and TV shows. The RSCP Foundation has since not flagged any of this content as the entity does not pose threats. The Foundation has confirmed that the Jazz Skull will only be active from midnight on October 1 to midnight of the 1'st of November, and at the exact precise time.
