James W. Holloway (March 10, 1856 – August 12, 1923) was a Robloxian journalist and newspaper founder, best known for establishing the Roregon Times in 1892. Born in 1856 in New Brickham, Roregon, Holloway worked as a reporter for various small newspapers before deciding to launch his own publication. His goal for the Roregon Times was to provide unbiased coverage of political affairs, business, and local news, which helped the newspaper gain strong prominence in the region.
Under his leadership, the newspaper expanded from a small four-page weekly publication to a widely circulated daily paper by the early 20th century. Holloway was known for his investigative reporting and revealing the truths of many cases, which earned both praise and criticism. His editorial stance often challenged corruption and poor governance, leading to several legal disputes with state politicians. Holloway remained the editor-in-chief of the Roregon Times until his retirement in 1918. He passed away in 1923 at the age of 67 by an unknown disease.
