Hurceles Middle School also known as Hurceles without its suffix is a prestigious Middle School established in 1914 with a direct precedessor dating as far back as 1790s.
It has a student enrollment of 1700+ people, and the Hurceles School District is managed by Lexington Holdings Education Subsidary, an investment group, whose parent company own Lexington Towers in BI. Despite parts of the building being listed, Lexington Holdings have done expansions in areas that are not. It is noted that the corners of the original school must be preserved.
The school had only 135 students in 1952, but following major enrolment shifts the school's size increased to 932 by 1956, leading to continuous expansion. Eventually, it had increased to 2089 students by 2010, which was over the school's newly-built limit of 1750. However, this were permissible temporarily due to the space in the school's hallway system effectively being able to manage high loads., before experiencing a sharp decline to just 92 students which lead to the attempted shutdown of the school in 2023. However, Lexington Investments took it over as part of their Education subsidary project, and very quickly regrew the school to 1700 students, just 48 students shy of their maximum capacity, leaving breathing space, with over 580 students a grade.
In 2026, they had decided to create a community college with 12,350 in capacity.
The school is the highest achieving middle school in the North Robloxia, and likely will continue to be. Its "sister school" is set to enroll over 3,500 students. A new wing is under construction to merge the elementary and high schools, which means Hurceles Middle School will become Hurceles School, and it will serve students through all grades, serving approximately 7,010 students in the one campus, with expanded capacities for 7,200, becoming the largest K-12 school in Roblox. For this, extreme fire safety measures will have to be carried out in the large campus. The old high school campus will be demolished, and the elementary school section has already closed due to a fire.
