Hopetown is the largest settlement and capital city of Neotopia. It is located on the coast of Neotopia, between Players' Sea and Prince Charles Mountains. With a population of 102,459 (2026 census), it is the most populous city in the country and the second most populous in Bloxartica. In total, approximately 30% of Neotopia's population lives in the city and several nearby towns that together form the Capital Territory.
The first camp in the city was established in 1933 during a Blox Zealand expedition led by George Whitestone. In the second half of the 20th century, research bases were established in the region. In 2000, after Neotopia's formation, the country considered claiming Hopetown, but local polar explorers ultimately joined Neotopia themselves a year later. Today, the city has significantly expanded its population, exerting a significant economic influence.
