Highway 999, officially State Route 999, is one of the oldest modern highways in Bloxifornia, being officially commissioned in 1946.

The route was planned by a man who went by the pseudonym TheDoctor in 1942, during the mist of World War II. It was originally planned to run from Bloxoro to Brookhaven. Ground would break in 1943, though due to the war, resources and construction was slow and by 1945 only small segments in Bloxoro were complete. In a move to make construction easier and cheaper the highway would be built upon older road ways. This caused the highway to diverge from its original route and ran the road through locations it was never suppose to be in. The highway now spans from Bloxoro to Blox Angeles.
