Mason "Scorpio" Smith, serving as the 31st president of Robloxia, was impeached for the first time on June 2, 2025. On that date, the House of Representatives adopted an article of impeachment against Smith: attacks against non-binary Robloxians. On June 7, 2025, the Senate voted to acquit Smith on the article of impeachment.
Smith's first impeachment took place after a formal House inquiry found that he had, on May 31, 2025, called Robloxians on social media who have the pronoun "it" as non-Robloxian, and therefore do not deserve rights, capabilities, and freedoms as non-binary Robloxians. He then proceeded to call them mentally confused and said that if they do not know what gender they are, they should pull down their pants and look to see if they have a pole or a hole. He then discredited the recognition of a door knob and a croissant being an gender, even derisively mocking Robloxians who identity as them and even swore to say his social media rant on a Pride Month march. The inquiry stage of Smith's impeachment lasted on June 1, 2025 in the wake of his social media rant. A set of impeachment hearings before the House Judiciary Committee began on the same day; on the same day, the committee voted to recommend the article of impeachment for his attacks against non-binary Robloxians. The same day, the full House approved the article.
The article of impeachment was submitted to the Senate on June 3, 2025, initiating an impeachment trial in absent since Smith was sickened. On June 7, 2025, Smith was acquitted on the only count by the Senate, as the count did not receive 67% of the vote to convict, and he was later revealed to have apologized for the personal defamation.
Smith remained in office for the remainder of his time in the emergency room. During his time in the emergency room, however, he was impeached for a second time on June 22, 2025 following the discovery that he rigged the election. The Senate did not have enough time to find the vote to convict, therefore, he was acquitted again.
