The Sapphire Automotive "Hellhound" is a type of armoured SUV used by police forces, criminal organisations and military forces, the most famous instance is "Schwartz One", Luna's personal vehicle of choice. The Hellhound is renowned for it's durability, versatility, all-terrain capabilities and ability to conceal weapons.
Although it is renowned for their durability, it is still like other weapons, with one weakness.
This was revealed during a Police Chase of the Schwartz One with GFA Police throwing an EMP Spike at the car, disabling its weapons and engine for more than 7 hours. Luckily, Luna escaped leaving her driver to face the consequences. She then requested Schwartz One to have upgraded electronic warfare cpabilities, in which the car's micromissile launcher was replaced with a classified piece of technology that rendered the car invincible to EMP attacks
Technical specifications
The Hellhound is mainly used as a police vehicle, mainly when situations require an elite tactical response. Normally in cities like Da Hood, seeing a police car with sirens blaring, no Dahoodian bothers to bat an eye, but when a Hellhound rolls down the street, People run the other way, shopkeepers shutter their windows, and pizzerias stop taking and delivering orders. Because they know shit has hit the fan when a Sapphire Hellhound enters the chaos.
Reactive 10cm armour
The armour of a Hellhound can withstand rounds as powerful as .338 Lapua, the specialised reactive stainless steel/titanium plating ensures protection. The tires are also reinforced with a specialised layer of polymer that makes the tires less vulnerable
Hidden weapons
A typical Sapphire Hellhound has 2 30-30mm repeater autocannons, with the barrels just under the headlights, the autocannons can retract from a small hatch underneath. A micromissile launcher is also stored in the roof.
