SWAT

SWAT Operators are special forces soldiers working alongside ordinary law enforcement. They excel at hand-to-hand combat and ranged combat.

As of when the Authority was formed, all SWAT officers were automatically conscripted into the Authority.

Background

SWAT Team operators are recruited from ordinary police departments, recognising special fighting abilities and skills shown by ordinary officers. They are then trained and specially involved in extra dangerous situations and gain operational command over normal officers. Extraordinarily talented SWAT operators then gain the choice to gain entry to Metro.

SWAT officers were involved in the incarceration of the Engineer, a key figure behind the Anti-Furry Coalition.

The Authority recruited the SWAT officers into their own ranks.

SWAT officers, along with Liberty County Sheriff's independent SWAT unit, shot Joe Hernendez after he killed 8 others, and injured 1.

SWAT Operators use the M4A1, Desert Eagle, Glock 17, MP5A3, and the M67 grenade as their choice of weapon.

As of the Authority's introduction, SWAT began to use Remingtons as part of their arsenal.
