Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines (Ro-Portguese: Azol Linhas Aéreas Bloxrasileiras, or just simply Azol) is the second largest international airline in Bloxrazil, which was headquarted in Bloxbarei, Saõ Bloxuaro. The company was named as "Azol" or ("Blue" in Ro-Portuguese language) after a naming contest in mid-2008, where the "Samba" was the other popular name in Bloxrazil. The airline was founded and established in May 5, 2008 by a Bloxrazilian people Bloxy Neeleman, which also a founder of the Robloxian airline which was JetBloo, which was headquarted in New Blockers City. The airline began commenced its operations on December 15, 2008.
The airline now has three hubs, the hub are followed as Relo Berizonte, Campinablox, and Becife. Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines had been served 163 destinations and had been operating 166 aircraft fleets in-service. The airline has its own charter subsidiary called Azol Conecta, and also owns a freighter division called Azol Cargo. After the airline experiencing three hull losses since the first hull loss since the dissapearance of Flight 8718, 5792, and 4034. The airline was not filed for a Recuperação Judicial bankruptcy prior to mid-June 2014. While Azol is not currently a member in an airline alliance, it signed a codeshare agreement with a Bloxstar Alliance airline, Reunited Airlines.
History
2008: Foundation
Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines was an international Bloxrazilian airliner founded by Bloxy Neeleman (which also a founder of JetBloo). Azol inagurated its service in the Bloxrazilian domestic market on December 15, 2008 between Campinablox, Rio de Bloxeiro, Bloxavaldor and Bloxalerge. The airline commenced its operations on December 15 with three Embraer E195 aircraft and two Embraer E190, another three aircraft was added on December 21, 2008 to Introducing a nonstop service to both cities, Vitóriablox and Curitiblox.
2009-2010: Development
On 8 January 2009, Azol announced acquistion of Ro-TRIP Linhas Aéreas, the largest international regional airliner in Bloxrazil. Azol and Ro-TRIP Linhas Aéreas started its comprehensive code-sharing operations on 22 January 2009, with all flights carrying only the RATA code of Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines. On 6 April 2009, Bloxrazilian authorities gave the final approval for the airline merger with only a few restrictions related to the code-sharing with Ro-TAM Airlines, and a slot use for the Rio de Bloxeiro-Bloxantos Dumont Airport. On 6 June 2009, the merger process was completed with the final approval from a Bloxrazilian authority. After the merger, Ro-TRIP Linhas Aéreas had been ceased its operations in 2009 and all assets were transferred to Azol.
In early of January 2010, Azol has announced that the airline had signed a purchase agreement for 35 Robus R320 aircraft. The airline also to lease a further of 28 aircraft type. In mid-June 2010, Azol finalized a deal for 30 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft (of which included 20 options) first announced at2009 Famblox International Airshow. The next delivery was scheduled for early 2015. On 23 November 2010, the airline announced Luobu Ro-HNA Group (which was the owner of Ro-Hainan Airlines, would likely invest 450 milion robuxes in Azol, and becoming its large shareholder. This can be follows the 100 milion robuxes of Reunited Airlines, which was closed in June 2010.
2012-2014: Crisis, pre-gen alpha hull losses
Azol plunged into the losses, amounting to B$254 million in January 2012. With these losses, the airline cut most of the routes, such as Ro-Manaus, Natal, Becife, Asunción, and Bloxgota. The airline recovered from its losses in the early of August 2012, achieving B$323 millions. However, sixteen days after, Flight 8718 vanished during a flight from Ro-Manaus in Bloxrazil, to Miablox in Robloxia. The aircraft lost contact approximately two hours into the flight. It was marked for the first fatal accident for Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines and it is the deadliest accident in the airline's history. The RENIPA, RTSB and Azol took a search attempt for the Flight 8718 but was failed to find.
