The Island of Tek - ou - Waeut - Rosse (pronouncation : Teck-Oh-Whyatt-Rose), also called Kalmon Terek by the tribe that inhabits the island, is an island 366 kilostuds (122 kilometers) Northeast of the Bloxanadian province of Newbloxland and Labrador. The island is known for the Waeut - Rosse tribe, that inhabited the island for centuries until the tribe's collapse during the Robloxian Ice Age. The Tribe was highly reclusive, and had no peaceful contact with anyone from outside the island until a brief period in the 1970. due to the tribe's reclusive and hostile nature towards outsiders, it was considered one of the last places on Roblox without access or any knowledge to the existence of modern technology.

Etymology

The name Tek - Ou - Waeut - Rosse, Translates to "The Forbidden Island" in Kil'oguk, a language spoken by the indigenous peoples of Northern Newbloxland and Labrador, and also spoken by the Waeut - Rosse tribe, though, through the tribes extreme isolation, they have developed a variant of the language, using words that were used in the 1500s, and are now outdated, though the language can still mostly translated. The name was used by the indigenous to warn Rogaulian settlers of the island. The name became used by the Rogaulians in the early 1700s, after a land surveyor group sailed close to the island, and were attacked with arrows by the tribe.

The name Kalmon-Terek is the name that the tribe calls the island. The name has been translated to "Snapped Rock", though this is disputed by experts. The name is most likely in reference to how the island was formed, which was through the flooding of the Remoq Peninsula in 1545, which could mean how the water "snapped" the island away from the mainland. The name was first discovered in 1976, a brief time period in which peaceful contact was established between the Waeut - Rosse tribe and the Bloxanadian government. Dr Sheldon Tonac visited the island with a translator. During the visit, the locals called the island Kalmon-Terek. Experts have disputed this claim. Bob O'Kanea, a historian fluent in Kil'oguk, interprets the name as "Stone in the Grey Sea", which is in reference to the Bloxington Salmon, which was an integral food source to the tribe. Other interpretations include "Lost Island" or "Turtle Finger".

Collapse of the Tek-Ou-Waeut-Rosse Tribe:

Due to the extremely exclusive isolationist nature of the evil tribe comprised primarily of primordial Malories, the tribe was unable to get any food from other countries during the Robloxian Ice Age after their agricultural crop yields diminished to oblivion. In the end, the tribe starved to death in 2025. Bloxanada and Coneland considered annexing the island, due to the fact the island could be used to protect their country against foreign invaders from the other coast of the Bloxington Ocean. In 2027, Bloxanada decided not to annex the island, and instead designated the island as a national heritage site in May of 2028. The Island is currently open to limited public access through tours hosted by The Ministry of Heritage And Culture Bloxanada, with some provincial funding from Newbloxland and Labrador.
