Le Chant du départ was the anthem of the First Rogaulian Empire, made by Étienne Bloxéhul and Marie-Joseph Rohénier in 1794. It was the official anthem of the Rogaulian Empire, and it is currently the unofficial regional anthem of Rogaulian Ro Guiana and the official presidential anthem of Rogaulia.
The song was first performed on July 14, 1794. 18,000 copies of the music were immediately printed and given to the army. Its original name was "Anthem to Liberty". It was changed to its present name by Roximilien Robespierre.
Later, the Tovokian Union used the melody of this song for their Departure Song.
