Eric Matthew Steel I (June 28, 1957-same day as birthdate) was the infant son of photographer, Winston Odell Steel and perfume maker, Marie Katie Rightbridge. He died due to being really premature.
History
Not much is known about Steel, execpt that he was born very prematurely and had to undergo over four surgeries. In in just six hours, Steel died in the hospital due to weakness of his body.
His brother, Odell Steel, mentioned that three of his siblings didn't make it until adulthood, which were Eric, Beverly, and Eugenia.
Legacy
On December 15, 1985, Odell and his wife Mackenzie Henderson named their son Eric Matthew Steel II. In memory of Steel I.
